New Kensington Campus Student Union Building (SUB)

A renovation and addition of the Penn State New Kensington Campus Student Union Building (SUB) with an anticipated Total Project Cost of $8.9M. The project scope includes addressing deferred maintenance, building systems renewal, renovation of existing spaces and construction of an approximate 10,000 sf addition to include student space, bathrooms, elevator, health and wellness center, student organization space and create a new main entrance to campus.  The Student Union was built in 1974 and is 16,599 gsf.  The upper floor, consisting of food services and a dining area, will not be renovated other than providing fire protection and relocating storage space.
