Project Description:
- Trade Contractor shall manage the delivery and installation of the pre-purchased high-pressure steam piping system. WT is pre-purchasing the pipe to avoid delays in the schedule.
- Trade Contractor shall furnish and install all work as shown in the manholes to complete the high-pressure steam and compressed air systems.
- Trade Contractor shall furnish and install all manholes as shown on the contract documents.
- Trade Contractor shall excavate all piping and manholes as shown on the contract documents. Some excavations may be in the rock and with a depth of 20+ feet (See Soil Report). All excavation is unclassified.
- Trade Contractor shall coordinate crossing of Atherton St with Penn DOT. This includes but is not limited to required lane closers, Penn DOT required permits, and all State College Borough Requirements.

This project consists of bid packages funded by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) and the balance of the packages funded by the University.
As a project delegated to Penn State by DGS, some of the bid openings will be public via Zoom Webinar, where registration is required. Zoom will send event information by email after registration is complete. A registration link is provided within each bid package.
