AB-Phys Ed-Building Renovation
Penn State Abington would like to renovate the Physical Education Building. It is a three-story building with a mezzanine. The area to be renovated is approximately 47,500 SF. The building includes a gymnasium, cardio room, weight room, training room, auxiliary gymnasium, offices, and locker rooms. The project aims to renovate the building to improve the usability of existing spaces, including ADA improvements, building-system upgrades, and new window systems. A sprinkler system and air conditioning will be added to the building as part of the project.
CM Firm Prequalification is not required to bid. However, before subcontracting with PJ Dick, refer to the Bidding Specification, Section L, for complete details and the prequalification submission form.
The following trades must be PSU prequalified: Access Control and Surveillance, Asbestos Abatement, Telecommunications, Electrical (Med/High Voltage).

Access to the Bid Documents is intended for use by the bidder, their company, and entities involved in formulating the bid response.
Subcontractors MUST include Exhibit A - DBE Form & Exhibit B - Public Works E-Verify Form. Note that if no MBE or WBE applies, the Subcontractor shall still enter N/A and submit the form.
IMPORTANT: Bids must be submitted via BuildingConnected by the bid due date & time to be considered for this project. At that time, bids will be made available for P. J. Dick Incorporated to review, and no further bids or revisions will be accepted. Proposals will be received by PJ Dick electronically, only through Building Connected. Proposals in any other format will not be accepted.
