Material Research Laboratory Renovation

  • Completed - November 2016
  • Final Cost - $25,100,000

SCOPE:
Renovation of the 79,000 SF building was completed in two phases. MRL houses primarily laboratory research space and research support office space. Worn out mechanical and electric systems were upgraded. The roof was replaced and hazardous materials were abated. Offices were renovated with new fan coil units, new lighting, ceilings, and finishes. The MRL building’s new chilled water system also provides service to adjacent buildings.
