How Do I Obtain A Parking Permit
Process Steps: Any Full Time Office of Physical Plant employee wanting to obtain a parking permit must follow the steps below.
New Permit
Step 1: Report to the OPP HR Office located in room 100 OPP to complete a faculty/staff vehicle registration form.
Step 2: To complete the registration form, the following information must be provided:
PSU ID
Home Address
License Plate number(s) – maximum number of vehicles allowed to be registered on one permit is 4.
If using a handicapped placard with permit, placard and certification card must be presented at the time permit is issued. Copies will be made and sent to the Parking Permit Office for departmental records.
Step 3: Upon final completion, the appropriate parking permit available will be issued.
Exchanging Permit
Bring current permit issued to you to exchange. Also bring Penn State id for identification.
Obtaining Motorcycle Permits (IF no vehicle permit)
(IF you have a vehicle permit then go to Transportation.psu.edu to add the motorcycle to your vehicle permit)
Report to the Eisenhower Parking Deck Parking Office to obtain a Motorcycle only permit
Lost or Stolen Permits
Step 1: Report to the OPP HR Office located in room 100 OPP to complete a Faculty/Staff Vehicle Registration Form and Lost/Stolen Form along with $25 fee(check or cash) to replace a lost permit. Credit card payments need to be processed at the Eisenhower Parking Deck Parking Office.
Step 2: To complete the Registration Form and a Lost/Stolen Form, the following information must be provided:
PSU ID
Home Address
License Plate number
Adding/Deleting/updating Vehicle Information on Your Parking Permit
- Visit "Manage Vehicle Information" at Transportation Services website.
- Go to the "Online Registration Portal."
- Login using your Penn State access id.
- Under the "Permits" heading, select "View Your Permits."
- Select the permit you want to view.
- All vehicles associated with selected permit will be listed. Make any changes necessary or select "Add Vehicles to Permit" to add a new vehicle.
