e-Builder PMIS

e-Builder, OPP's Project Management Information System (PMIS), is used on Penn State design and construction projects. It is a standardized software system and process utilized to manage construction project related workflows.

EXPECTATIONS sessions for External Service Providers

 

We hope you are enjoying your e-Builder experience on PSU projects.  The team has been working hard to resolve issues as they come up to ensure a smooth transition of the contract and cost functionality.  You are reminded to submit EBSR’s when you need assistance with the various processes or just need clarification on a particular issue.  We will respond as quickly as possible.

 

In order to be clear on the PSU expectations for the use of e-Builder on projects, we are developing e-Builder EXPECTATIONS sessions to be offered monthly.  The sessions are being developed with a focus on External Service Providers (consultants, contractors, construction managers, architects, and engineers).  It is recommended that external service providers contracted with PSU for design and construction projects attend only ONE of the sessions.  The same exact content will be offered monthly on a continuous basis as new teams are formed.

 

Our plan is to offer the e-Builder EXPECTATIONS sessions monthly via Zoom.  The first three dates have been established!  Please sign up per the instructions below.

e-Builder Implementation Process

The implementation of e-Builder is a multi-phase approach and the associated tasks with each phase are summarized in the graphic below:

  • Phase 1 - Project Control / Collaboration, was implemented in January 2019 and is currently active.
