Breazeale Nuclear Reactor Facility Radiation Alarm Procedure
Purpose:
To establish a procedure for evacuating the Reactor Facility.
Policies and Procedures:
When the radiation alarm sounds, all persons must evacuate the building immediately. This alarm is a whooping sound, not a ringing sound. The sound of this alarm is demonstrated on the presentation videotape, which all persons must view upon entering the facility.
Office of Physical Plant personnel will not be involved in the maintenance or other services regarding the radiation alarm.
Police Services and Breazeale Nuclear Reactor Facility personnel are the only personnel who will be responsible for any action that may be needed.
