What is MS4?

MS4 Defined:

MS4 is an acronym for "small municipal separate storm sewer system," as defined by the US Environmental Protection Agency. Under Clean Water Act amendments, EPA developed a program called the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). Under Phase II of this program, small MS4s are required to get a permit for their stormwater management system.
