Vision
By the year 2001, OPP is routinely using CQI in execution of daily business. CQI is not viewed as a special, separate program but is the basis for doing all work.
OPP will be characterized by the following:
- The Strategic Plan is seen by all personnel as the "Main Event."
- Partnerships with customers, both external and internal, is key to our successful customer relations.
- An enabling environment is maintained which promotes open communication and encourages leadership, innovation, and quality improvement.
- Daily work is accomplished in a team environment.
- Supervisors are skilled team leaders and coaches, and workers are full partners who feel ownership and demonstrate enthusiasm.
- Decisions are process-focused, data-driven, and results-oriented.
- Measurements of success are based on customer satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and work climate.
