SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
The following sections contain forms for Professionals to use during the design phase, and instructions for the Professional
on Penn State’s design submittal requirements.
Title V New Emission Source Information (August 2001)
The University's Title V permit requires all new emission sources installed be tracked, "permitted" and reported. The
professional must provide the information requested as it becomes available (starting with the design process).
Board of Trustees (BOT)(February 2003)
Formal Presentations are made to the University’s Board of Trustees during the design process of some projects. When
this is required, the Professional will be asked to provide the necessary documents. This section outlines the format
that the Professional must follow when preparing the Board of Trustees presentation.
Environmental Quality Board (EQB) (April 2000)
The Professional must submit projects involving proposed changes to the exterior of a building for review during the
design process. The following document outlines the procedure for doing this.
Utility Demand and Consumption Form (Mar 2007
)
The Professional shall complete this form on all their projects. It is used to inform the University of the impact of
your project on the distribution system capacity. It needs to the submitted during the Preliminary Design review
submission and during the Final Design submission.
Design Phase Submittal Requirements (August 2006)
This document contains instructions for Design Professionals. It is an outline of the documents needed, decisions
required, and issues to be considered at each of the three submittal stages of the Design Phase: Schematic Phase,
Preliminary Phase and Construction Document Phase.
