CSS Enabled Browser List
As a result of the redesign of this web site using modern techniques and standards, this site looks best with a modern and (reasonably) compliant browser. Below is listed a number of the available browser alternatives. While it is not necessary for you to have a modern browser to view these pages, they will look better and the site will (hopefully) be more enjoyable to use.
-
FirefoxFirefox is an excellent compliant web browser that comes highly recommended. Firefox can be obtained here.
-
Mozilla"Web-browser built for 2004, advanced e-mail and newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing made simple -- all your Internet needs in one application." Mozilla also comes highly recommended and can be obtained here
-
OperaOpera is another excellent compliant web browser. Opera can be obtained here.
-
NetscapeNetscape has been around almost as long as the web, however, only with their latest browsers have they started fully supporting web standards. If you are using Netscape 4 you should seriously consider upgrading your browser to either the newest netscape, or one of the other alternatives offered here. Netscape can be obtained here.
-
SafariSafari is Apple's state of the art web browser and will do an excellent job displaying our web site. Safari comes with Mac OS X, and more information can be obtained here.
-
Internet ExplorerInternet Explorer version 6 and up does an acceptable job of displaying this site, however, if you have the option of using something else you should, as Internet Explorer contains a number of very serious security problems. Internet Explorer comes bundled with all versions of Windows. The windows site is here.
Note: If you are using Internet Explorer on a Mac, we recommend you switch to Safari if you have OS X or use this which is based on Mozilla and works very well under OS 9.
