Central Services comprises the "trades specific" crews, which provide technical expertise in their specific trades areas, as well as specialty services such as Waste Management, Landscape Operations, and the Service Garage. Central Services oversees almost all of the Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance activities in Buildings and Grounds. Central Services is also tasked to oversee most trades training and safety planning for other trade areas within Buildings and Grounds. Additionally, Central Service manages the Snow Removal efforts for University Park.

Central Services is comprised of the following: All trades shops, including Electrical, Environmental Systems, Refrigeration, Oil/Gas Burners, Vibration Analysis, Steam Trap, Asbestos Removal/Insulation, Water Analysis, Plumbing, Pumps, Sheet Metal, Welding, Machining, Electrical Integrity, Elevator, Electronics, Carpentry, Painting, Locks, Roofing, Masonry/Cement Finishing, Sign Making, Second Shift Preventive Maintenance, Refuse/Recycling, General Labor, and Equipment Operation. Landscaping Operations provide Groundskeeping and Landscape Area Maintenance, Landscape Installations, Tree Maintenance, Horticultural maintenance/Installation, and Signs and Barricades oversight.
