New Administration Building at Penn State Beaver

Commonwealth Services (CS) is a division within the Office of Physical Plant that supports the physical plant needs of the 28 Penn State locations away from University Park. Each of these locations has its own physical plant staff and operating budget and is generally autonomous in its day to day operation. The primary functions of the CS staff are to supplement the staff at each location by providing advice on all facility needs; establish, monitor and enforce the policies, practices and procedures used to ensure consistency in the quality of facilities throughout the Penn State system; manage all construction and major maintenance projects; and assist in defining and prioritizing major maintenance projects.
