Student Involvement
Student participation has become an integral part of the Physical Plant's Recycling Program. With their help, the Beaver Stadium tailgate program has grown from collecting 30 tons in 2005 to 112 tons for the 2008 football season.

Students Taking Action To Encourage Recycling, is a student lead organization whose goal is to increase awareness of campus recycling programs and provide volunteer efforts for numerous organized recycling projects. The most well known projects include the Beaver Stadium Recycling Effort, The Trash to Treasure Sale, Special Olympics, and the Four Diamonds Recycling Effort. Last year the Beaver Stadium Recycling Effort collected 87 tons of recyclables throughout the entire football season!
